DIY Chili Seasoning Mix - LARGE Batch

Homemade version of the store bought chili seasoning packets. Allows for the use of allergen safe ingredients and large batch means you always have it on hand. Best stored in a mason jar with a tight fitting lid.
Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Chili Powder
  • ½ cup Garlic Powder
  • ½ cup Ground Cumin
  • 6 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 4 tbsp Oregano
  • 4 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Thyme (optional)
  • 3 tsp Black Pepper
  • 6 tsp Salt

Equipment

  • 1 pint size mason jar (or a container that has a tight fitting lid)
  • measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. In your airtight glass container, combine all ingredients. You can either stir or cover and shake ingredients until mixed. 4 TBSP of this seasoning mixture is equivalent to one store bought package of seasoning mix.
