Eat the chicken, not the cow. That’s the message right?! Chick-fil-A has and will always be a favorite for us and a treat for the kids. They love eating at this restaurant. Even though they advertise no cow meat, we still have to watch out for contamination from other meats and by-products. Chick-Fil-A still cooks and markets sausage, bacon, cheese, ice cream, and other products that cause reactions for us. Potentially causing cross contamination on the grills, counters, serving utensils, etc. Eating out is always taking a chance.

Chick-Fil-A was not something I was willing to give up though and they are pretty great about it. Any time I have asked for something specific or out of the ordinary or prepared a different way, they happily make it! They do cook the pork products on their grills so if you react severely you can definitely ask them to grill your chicken filet or your nuggets on a clean grill and the ones local to me always do. The menu items below have been confirmed as Alpha-Gal safe (assuming no cross-contamination happens on the grill).
