I have always enjoyed Sweet Loren’s vegan, gluten free cookie dough but now my stores have started selling the puff pastry and the dough and I’m beyond excited!
Easy to grab and throw together for a quick dessert or even for a quick dinner!
We joined some family for dinner a week ago and with all the allergies and sensitivities we have in the family it’s hard to know what to make for a sweet treat. I saw the Sweet Loren’s puff pastry dough at the grocery store and grabbed it.

When I got home I grabbed some fall themed cookie cutters I had and some homemade peach jam (from this summer) out of the fridge.
Cut out the dough and use some plant based butter to moisten the dough, added a spoonful of peach jam, topped with the cutout dough, added a bit more butter to the top and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Cooked them as the instructions on the dough said and they turned out amazing!
In hindsight, next time I will add an icing glaze to them as I think that would add a perfect amount of sweetness and give them a bit of a shiny look. However, they were delicious all the same!
