Sweet Meets Spicy: The Ultimate Honey Garlic Glaze

This sweet and spicy glaze looks and smells like Teriyaki sauce but has a kick to it and the garlic flavor is divine. This is a glaze that can be paired with so many things! Works well with most any type of meat, vegetable or even over rice.

Life gets hectic, and dinner often ends up as an afterthought. For those of us navigating food allergies, quick meals aren’t always simple. That’s why I love this recipe – it instantly transforms any basic meat or veggie from plain to crave-worthy. It’s the kind of sweet and spicy sauce you’ll want to drizzle, dip and savor with everything on your plate.

So simple to just throw the ingredients in the pan, simmer and cook it down for just a few minutes. Then it’s ready to toss over your meat or veggies.

Ways this glaze can be used:
  • Meat options I have tried: shrimp, kielbasa, grilled chicken breasts/thighs, scallops, fish, turkey breast, chicken wings, salmon
  • Veggie options I have tried: broccoli, peppers, French green beans, cauliflower
  • I’m sure there are tons of other ways – if you try anything new with this glaze please comment and let us know how it turned out!
